At Speeding Bullet Comics, we will be having a “Super” Free Comic Book Day.

The first Saturday in May is Free Comic Book Day (FCBD), the biggest event in the comic book industry—a single day when participating comic book specialty shops give away selected comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops! Speeding Bullet Comics, 614 N. Porter Ave. in Norman, OK, will give away 5 selected free comics per customer throughout the day.

Speeding Bullet will have a special edition “Superman” comic book for patrons, and will welcome Superman to the shop for photos on Saturday morning.

The store will also welcome more special guests: comic-book creators Michael Adams (”Kung-Fu Legume”), Mario Wytch (”Sister Powers”) and Breyden Boyd (Shape-Man)!

Free Comic Book Day is a worldwide event in which participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away selected comic books absolutely free to visiting patrons.

Speeding Bullet Comics will be open from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. for Free Comic Book Day.
