Matthew L. Price is the writer of “Team America Racing” from CSN Press. The “Team America Racing: Full Throttle” One-Shot was released on July 1, 2026, following the serialization of “Team America Racing” in Comic Shop News issues #2000-2005.

“Team America Racing” is based on the 1980s toy line featuring motorcycle racers and extreme stunts.

“Team America Racing #1 … is a sort of love letter to licensed comics, but it’s got its own original spark, too,” writes J.C. Vaughn of Overstreet Access. “It’s a fun read.”

Matt’s previous comic-book projects include the prequel comic to the film The Posthuman Project, written with Sterling Gates and drawn by Mario Wytch.

Other comic stories include the adventures of the pulp book hero “The Grave” with artists Hunter Huskey and Jerry Bennett and “Haunted Palace,” drawn by Tyler Kelting in the pages of Speeding Bullet Comics Presents;  the ’90s-style adventure comic Team: Awesome! with Scott Sackett; and the sci-fi tale Agent Blue with Don Rosencrans. Price and Wytch again teamed up for a modern Western superhero tale “The Spur,” also called “The Oklahoma Spur,” available in an ashcan edition.

You can read “A Grave Christmas,” drawn and lettered by Ellis Goodson below. The tale also appeared in “Okie Comics” #4.

“The Grave” was adapted as a live-action pilot episode by director Kyle Roberts, starring Rett Terrell. Most recently, the Grave appeared in the ashcan edition, “The Grave: Big, Bad Secret” from Halloween Head Comics.
