‘The Grave’ wins best Oklahoma ensemble at Twister Valley International Film Festival; deadCenter screenings next

“The Grave” was honored with the Best Oklahoma Ensemble Award at the recent Twister Valley International Film Festival in Woodward, Oklahoma.

We held our world premiere at the festival, and it was incredibly gratifying to see the film with an audience!

“The Grave” is based on my comics character of the same name, about a vigilante who is secretly a reporter in 1920s Oklahoma City. Reporter Walter Crim and his alter-ego of the Grave stand up for the little guy in a dark, crime-infested world.

The film stars Rett Terrell as Walter Crim/The Grave; Alissa Rose Ford as Alice Baxter; Stephen Goodman as Sgt. Stone; Adam Hampton as Augustus Groom; Kato Buss as Bob; and Jacob Ryan Snovel as the Torch.

“The Grave” will screen twice at the upcoming deadCenter Film Festival in Oklahoma City as part of the “Okie Mediums” block:

2 p.m. Saturday, June 9 at MidFirst Bank Theater at Harkins Bricktown Cinema and

1 p.m. Sunday, June 10 at MidFirst Bank Theater at Harkins Bricktown Cinema.
