You could win iconic art from the windows of Speeding Bullet Comics, 614 N. Porter Ave. in Norman, OK.

The store is hosting an art auction throughout August 2026 to sell pieces that have hung in the shop’s windows for decades.

A live auction will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, August 29, and proceeds will benefit three schools in the area of Speeding Bullet: Jefferson Elementary, Wilson Elementary, and Longfellow Middle School.

The silent portion of the auction is currently underway at the shop. Customers can visit the store at 614 N. Porter Ave. in Norman and speak directly with Dan or staff to place preliminary silent bids.

Items up for bid include original window art by Kevin Stark (of the Toy and Action Figure Museum) based on Amazing Spider-Man #301, a piece commemorating the store’s exclusive “Josie” cover by Jessica Garvey, and promotional signage from the 2010 historic in-store creator signing with James Robinson and Sterling Gates.

Also at the auction event, new window displays for the store will be revealed.
