“The Bulleteers” short film made its debut last night at the OKC Public Farmers Market as part of the Oklahoma City 48 Hour Film Project screenings. It was great to again be part of “Team Limelight” and work on this film. Sean Thiessen and I wrote the script. It was our third time working together as writers (previously on the 48-hour shorts “Paradox,” and “Heroes of the Realm,” the latter also with Jon Skelly) and we fell into a groove pretty quickly.
Synopsis: “When a quirky but deadly outlaw returns to town, it’s up to a masked hero to gather a group of misfits to save them from the wrath of Todd.”
“The Bulleteers” is a Western comedy with some superhero and sci-fi elements. The crowd seemed to enjoy it last night, and I’m looking forward to director Kyle Roberts and the crew taking it on the road. It stars Edna Garcia, Collin Place, Alissa Rose Ford, Cate Jones and Jason Leyva. Denise Castelli is executive producer.
