All kinds of fandom will be celebrated at The University of Oklahoma’s annual CollegeCon, set for 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, in Oklahoma Memorial Union, 900 Asp Ave. in Norman.

The event, sponsored by the Union Programming Board, will offer dozens of events and panels. I’ll be on an OU faculty and staff panel at 2:30 p.m. talking about some of my experiences in comic-book retailing and journalism, including being a panelist at Comic-Con: International in San Diego.

Attendees should register for free in order to attend.
